The YRA continues to be a member of the Community Panel that meets monthly to discuss the development of the Old Brickworks site with the developer DOMA.
Progress has been slower than expected but DOMA hopes to be able to lodge the Environmental Impact Statement in mid-March. Once lodged, there will be the usual 4 weeks (20 business days) public consultation period. DOMA is now targeting March 2022 for all approvals to be in place with construction to commence as early as 1 April, 2022.
DOMA is hosting a public meeting to discuss the project.
DOMA are also arranging to speak to the immediate site neighbours prior to the meeting.
Another public meeting to discuss the final EDP is expected to be held in September prior to the EDP and Development Application being lodged for government approval in October 2021.
