The environmental assessment under the Commonwealth Environment Protection and Biodiversity Diversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) has been completed.
The National Capital Authority (NCA) is still considering the requested lease variation. The current lease doesn’t allow for dwellings and a hotel so a change to the National Capital Plan would be required before the development could proceed. This is part of NCA’s consideration.
